COMING THIS SUMMER ... we are pleased to announce that Peter Maddison-Greenwell and El Caballo de Espana will be here at Moorhouse! Classical dressage training and a demonstration with Peter's stunning Spanish stallions. Check out our forthcoming events page for further information plus links to videos of Peter and his horses in action. Training is aimed at ALL levels of horse & rider! THIS WEEKEND: FRIDAY 5 MARCH FRIDAY NIGHT JUMPING starts 6pm, SUNDAY 7 MARCH TRAILBLAZERS SHOW JUMPING ... Ponies start at 9am, horses not before 1.30pm. Last chance to qualify for 2010 Second Round!

 HELEN & SAM: Check out Helen and her lovely horse Sam in the new issue of the Trailblazers Magazine. A lovely, inspirational article! Thank you Helen for agreeing to be interviewed, and Sam for behaving so impeccably at his photo shoot! CIARAN RODE HIS FIRST WINNER! Mr and Mrs H's grandson, Ciaran, rode Tenancy to victory at Musselborough - his first win as an amateur. Well done Ciaran, we are all so very proud of you.
| STELLA (BellaDonna): Stella was very sadly pts on Friday 4 December. Not an easy decision for any of us as horse owners to make, but better to allow her to go when she still looked as well as she did and on a day when the sun was shining for her. Thank you to everyone for their kind words and also for the love, cafe and affection she received during her many years at Moorhouse. She was the original Marmite horse, but for the last six years she was the best friend I could ever have asked for and definitely the best birthday present I ever had or could wish to have. I will love and miss your forever Stel xxx  AREA 16 SHOW JUMPERS BALL - FRIDAY 6 NOVEMBER *NEW VENUE* THE EARL OF DONCASTER: Thank you to everyone who supported the Ball last night. A very entertaining night was had by all - Donna's lapdancing and bongo playing was very impressive!! EMILY HOBSON and STARRY EYED SURPRISE (Pepe) - Congratulations to Emily and Peps on coming fifth in their consolation class at Scope!
OPEN EVENING - 11 SEPTEMBER Thank you to everyone who came along on Friday evening. We are sorry if you missed the Police dogs but unfortunately they got called away on a job! Thank you to West Yorkshire Police for all their hardwork getting the evening organised and to Richard, Angie and Sam from the Equine Vet Centre for organising the microchipping.
